Day 1:Opening Service

The 31st Diocesan Convention commenced earlier this afternoon with a total of 222 registrants: 150 Official lay delegates, 66 clergy (retired and clergy) and 6 visiting delegates from the 6 deaneries.

In his address during the Opening Worship, Bishop Poltic enlightened the delegates by sharing some of the diocese’s performance and accomplishments vis Vision 2018. Although, very notable, he stressed that the Diocese still has a lot of challenges to face in the next years especially in the light of Vision 2028 and in this Season of Intentional Discipleship. He challenged everyone to look back and always be reminded of our baptismal vow and to recapture the experience of Pentecost as we continue our mission and ministry to build up more scripture-inspired and spirit-filled disciples.
